In under 2 hours drive one can reach such historical towns as Arles, Avignon, les Baux, the Pont du Gard, and places of natural beauty such as la Camargue, the Luberon, the Calanques of Cassis and Marseille and the Gorges du Verdon, with the beach a mere 30 minutes away. In addition to this we enjoy a pleasant climate all the year round and are able to benefit from an exceptional source of light which has been attracting artists for centuries. The narrow streets, the multi-coloured façades, the sparkling fountains and the colourful markets never fail to captivate the attention of visitors from all over the globe. It is a university town, young and with a thriving and lively community of around 30 000 students.
The international airport of Marseille-Provence is 30 minutes from the Institute, the Aix TGV station is 15 minutes away, with Aix in the centre of all major motorways.

The Institute is situated in Aix-en-Provence in a former private mansion with its charm, one side facing a street lined with plane trees and the other overlooking lovely gardens. There are 15 classrooms, a multimedia resource centre with an adjoining sunny terrace and a room for Internet.
