1. To provide clear, truthful, and complete information promptly, with respect to:

1.1. Conditions of enrolling and withdrawal:

  • The minimum age requirements
  • The regulations and legal provisions related to attendance by minors
  • The administrative conditions for entry and stay in France


1.2. The programs of study offered:

  • The objectives
  • The pedagogy
  • The details of instruction
  • The length of and precise dates of sessions
  • The number of hours of study
  • The method of assessing students' level of proficiency
  • The composition of groups (maximum and minimum number of students in each)
  • The pedagogical teams
  • The methods of assessing students' performance (certificates, diplomas, tests.)
  • The resources provided to program participants
  • The costs and an explanation detailing precisely what they include


1.3. Lodging alternatives and complementary activities offered

2. To house the participant in the best conditions

(according to the type of lodging s/he has selected), and to make known to him/her the procedures with which s/he may file a complaint in case of negligence or wrongdoing. The institution also abides to aid the participant in any way possible to facilitate his/her stay in France.

3. To provide quality instruction, including:

3.1. The placement of the participant in a group corresponding to his/her level, to be judged after an initial evaluation.

3.2. The strict adherence to the obligations contained in the centers’ own documentation (c.f. 1.2).

3.3. Instruction provided by qualified professionals, specialized in their domain.

3.4. Premises and equipment that are adequate for teaching a living language through the use of modern methods.

3.5. An appropriate system for evaluating students’ progress.

4. Lodging:

4.1. To offer, at the request of the participant, various lodging possibilities that are pre-screened and in a controlled environment.

4.2. To notify the participant, before his/her arrival, of the address and contact information of the lodging they have chosen.

4.3. To clearly communicate the rules and regulations regarding the participant’s lodging circumstances (prices, services included and all conditions related to reservation, cancellation, payment and any resulting litigation).

5. To inform the participant of the possibilities for local excursions or the cultural, recreation, or sporting activities offer by the program.

The program shall also make clear which ones are complementary and which ones fee-based.

6. To respect the rules and regulations currently in effect in matters of security and health.
