ECTS or
European Credits Transfer System has now been implemented by SOUFFLE with the
aim of promoting academic recognition of study abroad.
At the end
of a course, each student will receive a certificate indicating the number of
ECTS obtained as well as the level achieved in accordance with the joint
European terms of reference: A1 beginners, A2 advanced beginners, B1
intermediate, B2 advanced intermediate, C1 advanced, C2 advanced plus
As a
general rule, 2 learning credits are equivalent in terms of workload to 30
hours per week based on 15 hours of French classes followed by private study
and cultural activities in a total immersion context.
For courses
of more than 31 weeks, a maximum of 60 credits will be accredited to students.
